Understanding the 4 Cs
When choosing an engagement ring, it's essential to understand the four Cs: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight. Each of these factors significantly impacts the ring's appearance and value.
Cut
The cut of a diamond determines its brilliance and sparkle. A well-cut diamond will reflect light beautifully, creating that stunning sparkle we all love.
Color
Diamond color is graded from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). The most valuable diamonds are colorless, but near-colorless diamonds (G, H, I) offer excellent value.
Clarity
Clarity refers to the presence of internal or external flaws. Most diamonds have some inclusions, but they're often invisible to the naked eye.
Carat Weight
Carat weight measures the diamond's size. Remember, bigger isn't always better - focus on quality over quantity.
